GitKraken is not just a great stand alone tool for users of Git Version control, but the company itself is the origin of many amazing developer tools such as GitKraken and GitLens for Visual Studio Code. As an ambassedor for GitKraken I can say that their products are top notch and definitely worth checking out for inclusion into your own workflow.

I live off my calendar and todoist and some of the functionality i've seen from Morgen has me VERY excited. The app is young but with some upcoming integrations with todoist and payment processing with calendar booking Morgen will replace iCal, and calendy for me all

while simplifying the consilidation of how my time is spent each day.

Highly recommend you check out what Morgen is doing.

Use code: TALLGUYJENKS-TEN-1YEAR to get 10% off of Morgen :)

Text Sniper is one of my favorite little tools. It basically takes screenshots ot text and uses OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to convert the image into text on your clipboard for easy copy/paste. It can also read that text back to you. Text Sniper helped me a LOT with making flashcards for school or reading long texts with audio as well.

Todoist Is one of the most essential apps in my workflow. I've been using it daily and non-stop for going on 2 years now.

It is literally the app that runs my life because having to deal with ADHD, i just externalize everything into software which includes tasks, events, and things to remember and return to. That's where Todoist comes in.

Every single day i use this app and i never cease to find it useful. I cannot sing it's praises enough

Research Rabbit is a new tool on the block in the academic space that makes research discovery and citation tree exploration a breeze. They are one of the few companies I am legitimately excited to work with. I highly enjoy and recommend their service which is also free. Medium.com is one of my favorite places to read articles and its also a place where I myself write articles (when i can manage to get some writing done) Medium is pretty inexpensive for around $5 a month you can view any articles you want and the best part is that medium is very good for supporting creators based on what you read and how your membership fee is distributed amongst writers.

Taskade Is a powerhouse application that can hand your projects and tasks with ease, give you kanban or gantt views, and even org chart breakdowns based on task lists and templates you can design yourself. I spoke about Taskade in This video and it's only gotten better with time. Check it out!

Courses

My friend Santi Younger Has several courses out including one for one of my new favorite tools Logseq! You can check out his course Here! Logseq is quickly becomming one of my favorite tools to use. Using it for my DevLog has been a great increase for my productivity and i highly recommend you check it out. It's a great complement to other tools like Obsidian.

My friend Tom Solid developed a really cool approach to knowledge management and productivity called the ICOR framework. Standing for Input Control Output Refine. He has a lot of great content and doesn't do sponsorship deals in the aims of providing unbiased content. Check his work out, he's doing some really cool things and he's a great guy to talk to. He's Bavarian so ask him about morning 🍺️ 🤣️
